Shopping!

So it's getting more and more real every day. Yesterday, Jon and I went on a nice little shopping spree for some bigger tickets items that we probably won't get at the baby shower (thank you NANA!!).

We were able to get a dresser/changing table that is just what I was looking for, from Ikea; we also got a playpen, which is really cool because it has a built-in changing table, but it's not the easiest thing to pack in and out (which is another reason I'm so thankful for Jon!); and we also got a really nice travel system. It came with an infant seat, the base, and a stroller that can be used with the infant seat, but also fits up to 50 lbs. So we'll be able to use it for a few years. And it was on sale x2!

The baby's room is just about complete. We did have an issue with the border--for some reason, once it dried, the bottom half of almost the entire room curled up and didn't stick to the wall! So that really sucks. We'll need to have someone come fix it (cha-ching) unless you're willing to take care of it for us! I'm not that knowledgeable with wall coverings to fix it.

Once that issue is taken care of, we'll get some pictures of his room up on here.
