So I've been going to the doctor on a weekly basis now, which isn't so bad until I start realizing how often I've been filling up the Expedition. Oh well...only 19 more days to go (or close to it)!

My last visit was Friday the 6th, and everything went fine. Ethan's heartbeat is right on--he always seems very relaxed when he's being examined. Without going into the gory, scientific details, the doctor said my cervix is about 50% effaced at this point, which is making progress for labor already! I'm dilated about 1/2 cm...still a ways to go on that one. Of course, I don't want to be dilated right now. He needs to incubate longer! :-)

Although I'm due on the 27th, for some reason I really want to wait until March 1. Better yet, he could wait until March 6. That would make his birthday 3/6/9! But at this point, it's up to him and God. I'm just along for the ride.

I'm not tired of being pregnant yet, but there are a few things I miss--normal button and zipper jeans, sweaters, slacks, heels (whodathunkthat?!), being able to shave, and paint my toes. Stuff I've never thought about, but apparently I took for granted, will now be much more appreciated when I can do it again!
